Cookies and browser storage

Version 2026-10-12

Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Similar technologies, including local storage, can remember information between visits. The rules depend on their purpose, not just their technical name.

Storage needed to use your account

We use browser storage to maintain your sign-in session and support account security. We also remember settings you choose, such as appearance, and whether you have dismissed certain prompts. Sign-in information is handled through Supabase Auth; it remains on your device until you sign out, it expires, or you clear it. Some preferences remain until you change them or clear your browser storage.

First-party cookies remember your chosen language and appearance and whether to open the signed-in interface, for up to one year. These cookies help the page appear consistently when it opens. They do not contain your password or sign-in token.

Strictly necessary storage supports services you request and does not require consent in the same way as optional tracking. Accepting our terms acknowledges this use; it does not grant consent to every cookie or external service.

Optional third-party content

Embedded content can contact an external provider, share technical information such as your IP address and browser details, and allow that provider to read or set cookies. For example, the profile gallery asks before loading an Instagram post. You can leave it unloaded or open it directly on the provider's website.

A choice to load an external embed applies to that content. It is not blanket permission for advertising or analytics across acro-yoga.com. Signing in with Google is a separate action on Google's service and is subject to the information shown in its sign-in flow.

Website audience measurements

When enabled, Umami Cloud measures page views, referring websites, approximate country and browser/device information to help us understand how acro-yoga.com is used. This integration does not set analytics cookies or send your account ID. We remove URL query strings and fragments, mask invitation tokens and member profile names, and replace page titles before sending page-view data. The integration respects browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.

Recent analytics are available in Umami Cloud for six months under our current plan. We may export these records to a private local archive for longer-term traffic comparisons, retained until the operator deletes them. Analytics exports and local history are not published with the website. For details about Umami, see Umami’s privacy policy.

Your choices

You do not have to accept optional tracking to create an account. We do not treat accepting the Terms and Conditions as optional-cookie consent. Where optional tracking requires consent, it must be presented separately and refused or withdrawn independently.

You can sign out and clear cookies and site data through your browser's settings. This may sign you out and reset preferences. Reloading a profile resets its click-to-load Instagram embeds; cookies already set by an external provider can be managed through your browser and that provider's controls.
