How people matching works

Begin with a useful profile

Describe your practice, role, experience and what you are looking for. Keep your location and contact preferences up to date in profile settings. Share only information you are comfortable making available under your chosen visibility settings.

Discovery is an introduction

Browse People, look for partners at an event, or use the partner discovery tools attached to your travel plans. Event partner search focuses on participants who are looking for partners there. Travel discovery uses the context of your plan, such as dates and destination. A suggested person is not a guarantee of compatibility or availability.

A like, a follow and a match are different

A like expresses interest in connecting. When both people like each other, they form a mutual match. The matching tools can then reveal the contact details that are available to matched members. A follow is a separate connection feature; it does not replace the mutual-like step or mean someone has agreed to practise with you.

Move from a match to a conversation

Introduce yourself and say why you would like to connect. Discuss practice interests, expectations, availability and boundaries before meeting. A match is not consent to touch, train, host, date or keep messaging. People can change their minds, and a lack of reply is not an invitation to keep pressing.
