Share a ride, with clear expectations

Add a ride to your travel plan

Open My acro year, create or edit the relevant plan, and use its transport-sharing options. Choose whether you are offering seats or looking for a ride. Add the departure and destination, travel date, flexibility, available seats and useful notes. Going and returning can be separate ride legs.

Make the offer practical

Explain luggage or acro-equipment space, likely departure time, detours and any proposed contribution to costs. If the journey relates to an event, link it where possible. Discovery can use event, destination and date information to suggest relevant rides; a suggestion does not reserve a seat.

Confirm before travelling

Agree privately on the pickup point, arrival expectations, passenger count, luggage, stops, cost sharing and what happens if someone cancels. Both driver and passenger should explicitly confirm. Do not assume silence, a like or a chat introduction counts as agreement.

Rules for a considerate journey

  • Be honest about the seats and space actually available.
  • Tell everyone promptly if timing, route or costs change.
  • Respect agreed boundaries about smoking, pets, music and additional passengers.
  • Do not pressure someone to join or continue a journey they are uncomfortable with.
  • Remove or update an offer when seats are no longer available.

Drivers and passengers remain responsible for making suitable travel arrangements. acro-yoga.com provides discovery and communication tools, not transport, ticketing or a guarantee of the journey.
