Bring your event to the community
Start with the existing listing
Search Events for your gathering before creating another page. If it is already listed, use the available management invitation or contact the project to establish who should manage it. A listing collected from a public source does not automatically give someone ownership.
Create a useful event page
Sign in and create an event. Choose the event type, add a clear name, dates and location, and explain who it is for. Include the practice, expected experience, teaching language, programme, accessibility information and what participants should bring. Explain any prerequisites in plain language.
Add an image you have permission to use. Credit teachers and organisers accurately. Give people a clear registration link and explain the price, what it includes, cancellation conditions and how to ask questions. Check the preview before publishing or completing the review step shown in the editor.
Before people arrive
Confirm the venue and schedule. State whether activities are guided or a self-directed jam, and explain the event's approach to consent, spotting and participant support. Only publish contact details that their owner has agreed to share.
Keep your page reliable
Update changes promptly, including postponements or cancellations. Remove old registration instructions when they no longer apply. Invite trusted collaborators through the event's management tools rather than sharing your login. The public listing helps discovery; registration and attendance arrangements still need to be confirmed with your event team.
See how it comes together
From your first event page to a shared plan with your team.
1. Give your event a home
Add the essentials, then build out the programme and practical details. Your event page gives people one place to find what they need.
