A community project, built together
Why we are here
acro-yoga.com is a community project connecting practitioners, organisers and contributors. Its goal is to make it easier to find people to practise with, discover gatherings, share knowledge and stay connected when travelling. A local jam, a first article and a carefully explained skill can each make the community more welcoming.
What we are building
The website brings together events, community pages, people, learning resources and shops. Members can also share travel plans and offers of accommodation or transport. These tools help people start conversations and make arrangements together; a listing or a match is not a promise that an activity, person or offer has been independently verified.
How the project is organised
People contribute information and maintain the pages they manage. Organisers look after their events, community admins care for their groups, and shop teams manage their storefronts. Platform administrators review submissions where a review step is provided and help resolve website issues. This is a description of how the project works, not a claim to be a registered charity or federation.
Our shared goals
- Make useful acro information easier to find and keep it current.
- Credit the people who create, teach, organise and write.
- Encourage clear communication, consent and respect for different practices.
- Give newcomers a practical way to participate, without needing to run a large event.
